Metalscan is a professionally managed company with qualified and experienced professionals and accredited ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001 2018. The management and staff of Metalscan Inspection Services (MIS) was associated with Skilled Inspection & Technical Services (SITS) from 2007 September to 2011 June and worked for various projects in state of Qatar.
The management, staff, and workers of Metalscan were remains the same of SITS, with a change of name (Metalscan Inspection Services W.L.L) and under the new sponsorship from 2011June onwards. We are providing NDT, Heat Treatment and welding inspection services for Oil & Gas projects, Plant shut down jobs and other industrial projects, any locations (Onshore and Offshore) in Qatar. MIS also undertake equipment and consumable sales related to Heat Treatment & NDT. MIS have an initial manpower of 38 and will eventually increase when and where required.
All our NDT technicians are qualified to ASNT Level II multi discipline. Experienced PCN qualified technicians are also available as per the requirement. Our Heat Treatment technicians are well experienced and knowledgeable to handle electrical equipment. We have very specialized Heat Treatment technicians to perform Pre heat Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) both local and using temporary erected Electrical furnace, Refractory dry out work, Normalizing, and Solution Annealing up to 1200°C. We also have 12m x 2.4m x 2.4m permanent electrical furnace for PWHT of fabricated pipe spools for major projects.
